Acceptance Requirements

►    All loads must be safely secured and loose loads must be covered or tarped.

►    All vehicles must weigh in and, unless tared in the landfill computer, out as well.

►    All wastes must be clearly identified and sorted.

►    Any and all loads may be subjected to inspection by Landfill Staff

►    Any and all loads may be subjected to inspection by Landfill Staff

►    All wastes and recyclable materials must be placed as directed by landfill staff.

►    Where disposal fees apply have sufficient funds available

►    Recyclable materials may be re-directed to Newell Recycling or another processor

►    Burn Barrel contents must be in cardboard boxes or bagged to prevent fires in the containers ====or at The landfill

 

UNACCEPTABLE WASTES (not all inclusive)

 

►    Commercial or Larger Quantities or Specific Hazardous Wastes

►    Radioactive Wastes

►    Large Metal Objects, Automobiles

►    Hot or Burning Wastes

►    Large Dead Animals

►    Loose Wire with Posts

►    Unapproved Asbestos & Asbestos Containing Materials ("Zonolite" Vermiculite Insulation ====Requires Analyses)

►    Unrinsed & Liquid Containing Agricultural Chemical Containers

►    Explosives

►    Liquids or Sludges

►    Biomedical/Pathological Wastes

►    SRM Wastes (Cattle are Not Accepted)

►    Used Oil, Filters and Containers

►    Bulk Recyclables (Paper, Cardboard, Polyethylene & HDPE, Etc.)

LANDFILL STAFF HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO QUESTION, INSPECT, REFUSE OR REDIRECT ANY WASTE MATERIALS
